Arm lift cost depends on whether one or both arms are treated, whether it is a standard or extended arm lift, and whether it is combined with another surgery such as a torsoplasty or liposuction, plus operating room fees at an accredited hospital and a board-certified anesthesiologist. After your consultation you receive a formal written quote with no hidden fees, so we don’t quote a single price without evaluating your case.
Arm lipo removes fat and leaves small scars, but it doesn’t remove skin. An arm lift removes excess skin and fat and leaves a longer scar along the arm. Which one you need depends on how much loose skin you have and its elasticity; sometimes they are combined.
An extended arm lift (extended brachioplasty) carries the correction from the arm toward the side of the chest to treat loose skin in that area as well. It is used when the excess skin isn’t limited to the arm, and it is often combined with a torsoplasty as part of a body lift.
Swelling, bruising, and soreness are normal during the first weeks. You’ll wear a compression sleeve or garment for as long as Dra. Sofía indicates and avoid strenuous arm activity at first, and some patients have a temporary drain. The final result becomes visible as swelling goes down over several months.
